I bring you a great knit accessory pattern that’s so cozy for the winter. I am on a mission to destash a large portion of my yarn this year. This is a great pattern to use up some of that left over super bulky yarn. The pattern doesn’t take a lot of yarn so you can very easily get away with using only 1 skein as long as you have 120 yards.

Materials
Needles 9.0mm straight needles
Yarn 120 yards of LB Hometown USA, Weight (5) Bulky, 127 yards
Materials Tapestry, Needle, Scissors
Abbreviations (US terms)
Co- Cast on
St- Stitch
K- Knit
K1b- knit stitch in row below
P- Purl
SL– Slip a stitch
Notes
Skill Level Beginner+
Gauge 8 stitches X 10 Rows In fisherman’s rib
Cowl is worked flat in one long piece. Once the correct length is reached you will then seam the ends together to join.
Pattern
CO 24 sts
Step 1: k, p, repeat to the end
Step 2: sl 1, *p, k1b, repeat from * to last stitch.
Step 3: Repeat step 2 until you reach a total of 22 inches long.
Step 4: Cast off all sts.
Step 5: Leave a long tail, cut yarn.
Step 6: Seam ends together. Weave in any tails
