Y’all I’m so excited to share this pretty little piece that I’ve kept a secret for so long! I had the wonderful opportunity to have a pattern featured on the Make & Do Crew blog. I’ve been following the blog for quite a while and was so surprised when I was selected to submit a pattern. You know sometimes you just have to go for it and not be afraid to fail, that is when some of the best opportunities present themselves. Just 2 short years ago I was just starting this designing endeavor and am just so surprised where it has led me today. I’ve gone from being unhappy in my job, stressed out of my mind by the commute to said job, making just enough money for my way over priced tiny studio in San Diego, to now working a job I love in the fiber art world and living comfortably in Arizona. If I hadn’t taken the steps to pursue something I loved I would not be in the position I am today and it is all because I wasn’t afraid to fail. when I started this I had no idea where it would lead me but I stuck with it because it eased my stressed and anxious mind and I looked forward to my crochet/ knit time everyday. So moral of the story don’t be afraid to go after the things you love no matter what, we can so often be our own worst enemies.
